What does it mean to be a Democrat today?

First of all to be a Democrat and follow the planks of the party platform, you may not voice your opposition to Roe v Wade or any companion decisions of SCOTUS (Supreme Court Of The United States) relative to abortion since the expert biologists of the court have taught us that pregnancy involves carrying a piece of property much like Democrat members of an earlier SCOTUS taught us that a black man is a piece of property; which piece of property could be handled in any manner the owner wished.  It goes without saying that a mere piece of property cannot be said to have any rights under the constitution.

Now Democrats need to realize that these two SCOTUS decisions have had a major impact on keeping Democrats in power, which is of course the most important objective of a major political party like the Democrats.  To be sure the second of the afore-mentioned SCOTUS decisions led to the American Civil War between the Republican North, who didn't like slavery, and the Democrat South who did.

Even though the North won and the South lost, the Southern Democrats were good politicians who kicked the Republican Reconstructionists out of their states, making the former black slaves into farmers who sold their products to their former Democrat masters; these Democrats rightly concluded they shouldn't allow these new black farmers to vote because they suspected they would vote Republican; and so was born the"solid South" of former slave masters voting Democrat for some 80 straight Years.

Democrat president Woodrow Wilson,  during World War I, was trying to "change" the American Republic into a progressive state. However he caught the flu during the pandemic of 1918 which destroyed him physically and mentally, causing his death at the end of his second term; this is the first instance of our country being run by a woman, Woodie's wife.
This was all on the QT of course.
At this same time we have the first instance of Russia being ideologically mastered by German communist philosophers but not militarists.  Thus the rise of Stalin And the USSR.

The great depression of 1929 brought the Democrat, FDR, into office as president offering his "change", the New Deal, which would solve all our problems. In actual fact, by 1940 all his ideas of tax and spend failed to end the depression which resulted in what is now called the Dead Deal.  Well, there's nothing like a good war, the Second World War, to save the day. Building and selling weapons of war brought us out of the depression.

During the war there were those who became enchanted with communism and after the war ended, Joe McCarthy earnestly tried to root out communists who wanted to "change" our country but he was blamed for trying to call too many Democrats communists.  Thus Democrats were able to call any criticism of themselves McCarthyism;  they love labels.

Blacks led by Martin Luther King Jr., practicing civil disobedience, brought about civil and voting rights for themselves.  Unfortunately, he was assassinated and the blacks are in bondage again by the
Democrat elites.

Lyndon Johnson, a Democrat president, tried to stem the tide of communist advances in the former French Indochina, particularly, in South Vietnam. While our troops brought about the defeat of the Communists in every major battle, our troops were brought home in disgrace (while the Republicans were in disarray over a bunch of "patriots" trying to get the goods on the Democrats at their Watergate HQ), due to the Democrats, in control of Congress, refusing to supply more money for the war effort. Thus it was that "defeat was brought out of victory".

As a result of various forces and movements and countless radical hippies, Southern whites became Republicans and blacks became Democrats because Democrats promised to take care of them and take them out of bondage.  Actually, blacks have not all come to the realization that Democrat welfare (where a family got more money if there were no father) has destroyed black families and as a result of the first aforementioned SCOTUS on abortion the population of blacks in the United States has dropped significantly.  This was all planned by the original Progressives like Margaret Sanger.

In addition, the groundwork was being laid for a fundamental "change" in the structure of government .  Heretofore not just blacks but whites and all others of color were all to be taken care of just like the blacks and American Indians had been taken care of.  Everyone gets food stamps, welfare checks, free abortions, pleasure pills, sick pills and ration pills when its your time to go.

Jimmy Carter (a real "changer") who became president in 1976 made the government more intrusive into the lives of Americans by establishing the departments of education and energy from which we all benefit greatly today.

Ronald Reagan was one of the best presidents we have ever had but unfortunately he was handicapped by the complete control of Congress by Democrats.  Nonetheless he brought about the demise of the Soviet Union and he was able to curtail, to a good degree, communist expansion in Latin America.

Following 12 years of Republican control of the presidency with the Democrats controlling both houses of Congress Bill Clinton, a Democrat, inaugurated the beginning of the idea of universal healthcare which was then put into effect by the following president - what's his name?

Feel the tingling up your leg?  Democrats are so just fuzzy, doncha think?  Now the fun begins!  Ready?
Don't ya just love the Wiener?  Now he's upper class, which leads me to believe we'd be better off with just good hard-working, sincere, ordinary folks.  Know any?
