The recent riots in Greece involved Greeks protesting the cutting of their welfare payments. Is there a connection between their plight and our debt crisis? To answer this question, consider the following:
Anyone who thought Sarah Palin had been abused by the Left enough must now have been rudely awakened to a barrage of fresh abuse related to the release of five boxes of emails Sarah sent and received during her tenure as Alaska Governor. Though nothing of newsworthiness has as yet been discovered, there are complaints from mostly leftist blogs that the beginning month's worth of emails is missing out of three years worth; Alaska is investigating.
A most enlightening video report on Fox News on this fishing expedition is well worth viewing. Guest John Ziegler on Fox and Friends describes, in engaging humor, the Palin abusing media and challenges they undertake in collecting “dirt”.
One hears many pundits and politicians on the Right profess ignorance as to why the media of the Left does what it does; either they really have no explanation, or they fear being tagged as “extremist” if they truthfully expose the Left, its motives and actions.
The maxim, on which all on the Left act upon, and the truth of which, all conservatives must not only understand and accept, but also be willing to describe the actions of the Left in terms of their employment of this maxim:
All adversaries, potential or actual, must be controlled; failing this, they must be destroyed.
In a completely totalitarian state such adversaries disappear, are imprisoned, or are executed. In a state whose government endeavors to “change” the state to one of totalitarianism, which is the case in America today under the Obama-Democrat administration, more “subtle” methods must be employed: malevolent gossip, bringing to light any kind of wrongdoing, whether real or concocted, bringing all propaganda units of the media to relentlessly use propaganda, filled with lies and distortions, to convince people to see the propaganda as truth. This is exactly what has happened to Sarah Palin.
Sarah Palin is seen by the Obama-Democrat Left as the most dangerous adversary of all; were she not so seen, the media would long ago have ceased their attacks. They attack other Republican politicians and will attack all Republican candidates in 2012, using this same maxim used on Sarah Palin, using every other dirty trick available, including voter intimidation and election fraud of every kind.
We in America are at a crisis point. If sufficient Americans remain duped by the propaganda (including the attempted destruction of Sarah Palin) being foisted on them and are responsible for re-electing Obama in 2012, it is possible that America will find itself in the same situation as Greece finds itself. In Greece there is not enough money available to pay the welfare promised by the government. The income from taxes and other sources available to the Greek government is insufficient to cover all the promises of welfare made. The government has borrowed and increased its national debt to a point where they can no longer borrow money. So they are stuck and must cut spending; the biggest cost is welfare so it must be cut; result − riots. What will happen next? Other European Nations are in the same fix.
Does another country collapse into chaos?
If Obama is re-elected, there is the possibility that ravenous spending will continue, in spite of congressional attempts to exercise control, because of funding for new programs put in place by Obamacare. Unless Obamacare is repealed, spending could go out of control, our debt rise to a point where, like the Greek financial collapse, our system collapses and chaos ensues; riots could be seen in the cities with the necessary reduction or elimination of welfare payments.
All those who love freedom and the American way of life handed down to us by those who gave us the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution must find ways to convince our fellow citizens who have lost their sense of individual freedom to come to the realization that a dependence, by a significant segment of the population for most of its needs, on a welfare system is bound to destroy America.
And finally we all need to understand that it will take a Sarah Palin to bring our country from the brink of disaster; she understands that we must get back to the ideas of smaller, non-intrusive government, a free market system, free enterprise and individual freedom.
